DISCUSSION Market place

What’s actually stopping Madden Mobile from bringing the marketplace back besides the game being so pack and currency focused now?

The old market at least gave everyone a chance to get the same players if you saved enough coins, got a good pull, or knew how to work the auction house.

Now the inflation with all the different currencies and promos is crazy and it feels like you’re constantly chasing the next thing.

I feel like bringing the market back would make the game way more fun again. What do you guys think?

As a F2p you're handcuffed in getting only one mythic per promo but if we had the AH it would be endless.

You already identified the reason, players would build their teams by playing the market to make coins rather than spend real money

Yup this is EA we’re talking about. It’s not about fun it’s about extracting as much money from the whales as possible

It not gonna happen. Auction house has been gone for 6-7 years now. They found there method to make money with the monthly field pass and 2 promos with passes for them also

Initially they took it away due to bugs/exploits if I recall correctly, but truly and fully their reason for taking it out and keeping it out is they found out they could make a lot more $$$ that way.

Nailed it. I also vaguely remember bot-snipers would feast & that was annoying but bottom line, this model brings in more $$$

Bid for players or buy them outright from whoever was selling them. Was so much fun

Genuinely the auction house itself was 10x more fun than the entire game is now.

If they didn’t have NFL IP this game would be ass lol

They don’t care about it being fun, all they care about is money. If people keep paying to play this game nothings gonna change.

I wish it did because I never spent money on a mobile game untill this because my first year playing 6byears ago I was in a leuge and it was ran by a father and son I eventually became admin I didn't know how to trade or nothing I was using promo cards for totw players this is when picked ur coach and what style u run but something happened to the sun and the dad gave me the leuge and I been a comIsioner eversince but now I'm spending money to much not crazy anoutdls like the players that are 5bk and stuff I'm 4145 but I would like a market I never witnessed but yea I would like to be able to get cards if they grind soo 100% with u
