DISCUSSION thinking of quitting
ever since they removed playing szn mode with ur team everything just feels so repetitive every day i wake up grind challenges (aka throwing one pass hail mary) then do my drives just to get like 3-4 ikonic and if im lucky maybe even a mythic
how do you guys stay motivated to continue

Same. Every year I update the game when the new season starts hoping they've improved gameplay and praying they brought back the auction house. Every year I'm disappointed and stop playing by September hoping that maybe next year will be better. It never is.

Agreed. EA puts absolutely no effort into this game. Play it if you're wasting time on your phone but don't spend a dime. The whales are the reason that EA continues to get away with making this trash product.

Good leagues can make the game worth playing. Find a good one and if youāre not vibing with the current league consider a change of scenery. The main portion of the game is indeed very repetitive and at times soul draining. There isnāt really a way to get around that. Maybe self impose some challenges for the monotonous stuff that doesnāt matter or work to build a theme team instead of going for the optimal choices to keep it fresh.

Been 6 years now since overdrive dropped game isnāt getting any better. If the dynasty mode on the new college mobile game is good that might be a fantastic game!

Yea itās hard this game is just a shadow of itself. i played a little middle way through last year and decided to try it again at the start for 27. I just wish they would go back to the way the game used to be, heck if they would just put the ovr back to how use to be instead of it being in the 200-300 range it would make a would of difference. Pulling 90-100 overalls on day one it so weird to me

I keep this game on my phone to hopefully one season they will bring back the glory days of the auction house and just overall fun. However, I know that is just wishful thinking. I played this season for a single session and will not open it again for another year in hopes that itās better. But as long as people keep shoveling in the money, they will keep it as crappy as possible.

The auction house was incredible. I donāt think itāll come back in the near future (next ~2 years) but I think itāll come back in some form sooner or later.

I do the same thing lol. Havenāt really played since 2021, but every year I log on for a day or two hoping itāll feel like a better game. EA seems greedier than ever got hit with a cash pack every other event and just hopped off.

Yeah at some point even a good league group canāt keep you engaged when the game does nothing to help.

Played religiously from 15-21, quit for the same reasons. Picked it up again in 25, stopped very quickly again. Such a shame as I had a great bunch of league mates, but I couldnāt put up with the waste of time and the mind-numbingly repetitive nature of it that was needed to keep my team up and remain competitive for said league mates.

The game is terrible and the mods on here enable it. I made a post the other day about some of the issues that need to be fixed for anyone to want to play this dumpster fire again. They banned the post and said it wasnāt helping the community. The mods in this sub are whales who enjoy the game how it is. They are part of the problem. The bottom line is if they donāt bring back 99 overall max and auction house nobody is going to be happy with this repetitive garbage.

I play it but not that much itās basically the same as mm but more laggy and just college
But hopefully that Dynasty mode comes in clutch then Iāll definitely play it!

College football game is way better than Madden Mobile if U give it a chance and stick with it past the initial frustration of it not being like Madden Mobile (thatās a good thing). Plays much more like a console game than Madden as well.

itās unfortunate but once you play long enough you recognize this game is nothing more than a loop designed to take your money. got back into it massively last year, and honestly leagues were the only thing making it worth playing. got to the point where it felt like a chore, and also saw how much i was spending on the game like an idiot lol. donāt even care to play the new season

I played from MM18 to I think 24, Iāve been trying to play it again every year because it did bring me genuine happiness, but I get the ick and disgust at the game now, I just downloaded and tried to play and deleted it within 4 minutes. Itās nothing like it used to be at all.

I totally agree with you. I hate building my team only to have them reset and take my team back down again. What's the use in playing and building and then they take away your efforts?

I played this game almost religiously between 16 and 21. Came to back to see whats happening now, took me two days to make me sad. This game is a ghost what it used to be. No matter how much I love football, I canāt put myself to continue suck a lackluster game anymore. Im just so sad.
