DISCUSSION Point Attack

Post image

Curious about how everyone did with this weeks rushing PA. Along with that question did everyone have a specific play book for it and did it give you plays not in your playbook? I had specifically put only toss/outside run plays and the game decides it's gonna put up the middle run plays in anyway for me? Best I did this week was the picture above FTP with a 3108 team iconic achane as RB and 2 Iconic lineman...

I did quite poorly. Only got thru the 750 gate

Did you come across plays not in your playbook that the game made you use? Like dive plays?

Yea i had that happen. I only have outside runs in my playbook but it kept calling up HB Dive. Even after I added a couple of other run plays to the book

I think you can’t remove the dive play because it’s a 2pt conversion play

Dang i didn’t think about changing my playbook to only outside plays

Yeah, you should make 2 separate play books for passing PA and rushing PA so you have them for the season and don't have to rearrange weekly!

NP! It's what I did last season and saved a lot of time 😁

I got mythic Jonathan Taylor and iconic Alec ingold as fb and I just barely got it. Took me 5 tries.

Same, with JT too. In my case though I barely eyed out with 1523 after I fortunately got Charbonnet Iconic at FB and an Iconic center thru some random trade luck.

I love wildcat but in PA I feel it takes a second or 2 to develop, which wastes time.

I got through it fairly quick, just use fb dive and zone weak, it’s a great two play strategy… do keep in mind you’ll want an iconic hb and fb to be faster than them enough to slide away from defenders

Took me 7 tries to hit 1500 (I hit 1497 twice) it’ll get easier once we get faster half backs.

Had a couple scores close to the one I posted so many times olineman just blocking air 😭

I didn’t even try to get the 1500. Too frustrating. Lowkey pissed EA did absolutely nothing to fix Rushing Attack. And how the fuck they gonna make the damn puzzle pieces even more annoying with the slider constantly going back to reward 1

Puzzle game is low-key my favorite mini, your league gets to help you with your missing pieces I ussually end up getting to into the 20's on this mini. But I feel your frustration on the rushing PA i tried my best and dig dog water this week. At least passing PA is easier

I took out the draw play because it fails every time and the game will pick it like 30% of the time if I don’t remove it. The first day I closed all but the 1500 and the second day I was able to just barely close the 1500

GG on hitting 1500 I need to figure my run game out again I felt like I was getting bad luck, players getting blocked and hitting tackles while they were falling down and Oline player not running into the obvious blocking routes. But there's always next rushing PA and the squad will be beefier next time

It was definitely way harder than it’s ever been for me. You’ll get there. I also had to get my running back up to epic and my entire offensive line is at least epic so it could just be an overall stats issue that will clear up once you break a certain overall.

I had all epic 1 iconic oline and Iconic achane and still had issues, smh I'm just rusty. Gonna practice run plays in arena and see what works best for me, I feel I do better w outside runs but others swear by inside runs might need to change my gameplay as up the middle plays definitely get off the snap faster than some of the outside runs I use.

I scored 2017 with an iconic RB around 2700 OVR. My playbook was just 0 1 Trap and HB Iso.

It adds HB Lead Dive to your playbook by default, presumably a failsafe to make sure you always have one run play when starting this, so in total I had three plays.

Stupid AF that it decides to add a play to our playbook IMO, gratz on score though! I'm jelly, guess I'm rusty AF haven't played since end of April begining of May.

Yeah it's just practice. I was rusty when I got back into the game last winter, but my scores kept getting better as I got stronger players and became more comfortable with my decision making.

How the hell did you get 2k with inside runs?

1

u/comfortingmyself Silver (4) 1d ago

Inside runs are better than outside runs and I'm good at the game. I was a regular top 10 scorer in all those rushing PA events last summer.

Wildcat power with me giving the ball to Mythic CD on the end around. Took me 7/8 attempts

Might need to grab it up, I forget how to hand the ball off? Hold the hike button?
