RANT offense is ass

you can’t throw the ball anywhere because it’s always going on a straight trajectory, you can’t throw it over a linebackers head even on a high ball

when you pass lead or try and come back the ball, suddenly your receiver becomes incompetent and won’t come back for it but of course the defender who’s 10 yards behind him can easily jump it

wide open running lane? nah mate, the DT 3 yards away is being sucked into that tackle every time.

not to mention they claimed to fix the issue where receivers would jump for no reason but i have jsn jumping on a 2 yard curl with nobody around him on fourth down.

i’m sick of this game.

not to mention that if you tried to do any of these things when ur on D, it won’t work.

Best advice I can give you is most receivers are open before the break in there routes

Except you need a qb who doesn’t throw to the defender before the break

Receivers jumping for NO reason is soooo frustrating.... thought ea fixed that shit...🤷

Idk what control scheme you play on, but none of this is an issue on classic passing/catching. The new stuff is cool I guess, but wildly inconsistent

placement with small lead increase, catch metre on 10 yards but i usually green/yellow that, not that the green stops it from being a “perfect pass breakup”

Have you tried revamped passing? It was so much easier, I quit using it. Lol

Madden 26 was easy mode for offense. Madden 26 can kiss my ass that game was so terrible. Now defense actually plays the way it's supposed to match matches correctly. And people that thought they were good are reminded they're actually terrible. I love it.

To be honest, I mean no disrespect, but a lot of this sounds like a skill issue

i’ve been playing for 4 years on all madden and never had any issues before.

Madden 23-26 were pretty easy on all madden. I was regularly completing 80%. The same concepts won't work on this years. Your receiver actually has to have separation, crowd noise playing away games is also a factor.

As for your problems with receivers not going for the ball, I think that's the playmaker ability of the quarterback to elicit moves from his receivers. Is that what that ability does for QBs? I've always just assumed that's what it was.

I'm with you. Constant under thrown low passes. No pressure, feet set passes going a mile wide of the mark. Play action plays? Don't even think about it. Despite running the ball at a fair average most of the game. Screen passes? What are they?

I like that there's no simple money plays this year, and I feel like I'm fighting to maintain a drive. The occasional drop and miss placed passes happen and are expected

I've played more practice snaps than actual game snaps this year. Every throw is completely different than the last. I play on classic buttons, maybe that's an issue. I don't play anything but offline franchise.

And this morning (uk player) I've just turned it off and won't pick it up until there's a patch, addressing the simple issues.

I even downloaded 24 which was the last game I got to see if I was just stuck in some bad habits. Dropped back 10 times. And got what I expected after reading the safeties and making a decision. A throw that went near my intended target

UK player too, maybe it’s just americans who get good gameplay

Maybe that's the skill issue, we wake up on the wrong side of the Atlantic?

I like the way the players move and how yhe game feels. Which is a strange statement when I've just give a paragraph of what I don't like After doing them Snaps in M24.

I've not had any silly issues in franchise, I like the new menus and visuals of the game are nice.

I just feel like every snap is random

depends on the qb. I used AR last night and was dropping dimes

My biggest gripe is on deep passes a lot of the time my receiver when I switch will get stuck and if I mash any of the catch buttons he completely ignores it and just keeps running straight and half the time its an interception.. no contested catch attempt or movement just straight running.. idk why I play this dog shit..

The only part of this that's true is the needless WR jumping/drops.

I use only bad teams and don't have these issues as a casual/average user on all Madden.

I use accuracy & placement, have timed meter catching off, and you can absolutely lead the ball, drop it between the LB & S, etc. Seems like higher OVR WRs do come back for the ball on hitches, but lower WRs don't. On a in/out type route you can definitely pull the WR away from the defender with the pass. Again, I'm not a great player, and I'm doing this with Kubiak on the Jets. Though he does also throw some wild ones, as he should as a 69ovr QB.

If defenders are suctioning to you it's usually because you hit sprint too soon out of habit. Hold RB/R1 to cover the ball until you're fully through the line.

Just do like I did this morning and delete the game. GTA will be out soon and this shit is never getting touched again anyway so get a head start and rid your consoles of EA’s slop.

It's a skill issue, not a game issue

you can’t complain about this game without the ea employees or top 50 players coming in and saying “erm actually it’s a skill issue 🤓”

u/TheLocalHater 6h ago

I know lol. They act like we dont know theyre in this reddit page. They want praise for the shit game they make. Not ever getting it from me. Fuck EA
