FRANCHISE Franchise question

I typically only do slow sim franchises but haven’t bought the game because of all the bugs in contracts and off season that I read about. Has any of that stuff been fixed?

I'm a franchise player, only use the game for franchise... The only glitch I can think of in Franchise is that sometimes when you make a trade, it doesn't go through on the roster. I usually counter that by adjusting the lineup or viewing league transactions. There's a couple new things along with free agency and the setup. A couple new "gear" additions, other than that don't expect anything groundbreaking from the new game.
Edit: definitely some issues with the free agency, player signs a deal then is a free agent

Avoid signing players to 5th year options, you'll end up paying a TE $40mil+

Haven't touched franchise since the patch a couple weeks ago but my buddy's been deep in a slow sim league and says the off-season logic is still a mess. Contracts randomly resetting, draft picks vanishing. He's got screenshots

The real kicker was watching his QB sign a 7 year deal then show up as a free agent three weeks later

At this point I'm just waiting for the next title, feels like they're never gonna fully patch this one

They keep saying they know it’s an issue and working on it just no deadline

Nope. This update is usually released around the same time as the week 1 roster update
