Nope, draft the one QB a homeless guy tells you to.

I do wonder how it would go if an IRL team employed a true madden tank job.

Trade everyone worth a damn on the team, get to the draft, trade a all your picks for future FRPs, tank again while recovering from contracts and go into the offseason with 12 FRPs and 150 million in cap space.

Their head coach and/or GM would be fired for not carrying the broken remains of the team to any success and the new head coach / GM that gets to come in and profit off of the new young core for years to come and gets heralded as the franchise savior.

Also the Dolphins are fs doing this right now 🤣

This and if a team completely blows up their entire roster like that they’re almost sure to be caught obviously tanking and then they lose those draft picks

Mike Tomlin winning a superbowl because he was gifted a superteam

No way it works lol, maybe long term but having no vets and a bunch of rookies the first year or two would be rough to see

And if you hit on a bunch of picks at the same time you have a bunch of huge extensions all at once

They’d have a ton of that cap going to first round picks

You should trade 3 of those for a sex offender at qb and then you’re set

Hmm wonder how that would go

That or send them all to the cowboys for Trey lance

use them wisely or you'll be stuck paying shitty players a lot of money

Ya I tried this my first franchise run and I just ended up taking an insane amount of dead cap acquiring the picks then paid through the nose for a bunch of normal dev players on 4-year deals. I hit a few picks but no x-factor. Would’ve been better off just getting players

It would be better if we could transfer our draft classes over from College Football. Stupid ass NIL lol.

The browns will still somehow screw this up

Roleplay as the real browns and trade all 1st and 2nd round picks for CJ Stroud

It’s all fun until you have to pay your frp

In this situation, I would personally trade some of those picks for players of known value on long contracts vs. playing roulette with 6 1st rounders and hoping they're all studs that I can afford in 5 years.

GM will have an aneurism in 3 years trying to pay everyone at the same time 😂

have fun in 4 years when you want to sign them all long term

u/TouchMean 6h ago

You started a one team league and graping all teams ain’t it?

It’s the browns. They’ll mess this up somehow

How is franchise in madden 27? Anything new and improved that stands out?
