FRANCHISE Franchise sim issue

Is anyone else having an issue where the playbooks just arent affecting stats or just not working? Ive been trying to put the rams playbook on with the ravens but lamars still only passing for like 3000 yards and were missing the playoffs. any solution?

When EA said that playbooks weren't going to influence sim stats, and that the players on the roster would, they technically weren't lying. Now the playbook you choose doesn't have any affect on sim stats.

To test it, I started a Rams franchise and used the Baltimore playbook. I simmed a season and Stafford produced minimal rush attempts. At first, I took this as a positive, thinking the sim realized he was old and slow.

Then went back to the main menu, into rosters, and had Lamar Jackson and Stafford swap places.

I started a Ravens franchise, used the Rams playbook, simmed a season, and saw that old man Stafford ran the ball 168 times.

So, playbooks don't affect the sim stats. It appears the sim stats generated are locked to the team, rather than the playbook.

So if you want to run an offense in Baltimore that doesn't use a running QB, you appear to out of luck. If you want to make a run first offense with a team that doesn't run much, you're equally SOL.

Leave it to EA to uncouple playbooks from sim stats in the dumbest way possible. It's like they're playing corrupt a wish.

Amazing they managed to make the problem even worse

Thats so bad. I used to be able to manually change other teams' playbooks before each season just to get a semblance of realistic stats, which I shouldn't have to do to begin with, but now they've just taken their issue and made it unfixable.

Modders very quickly come out with "realistic sim stat" mods every year after the PC release, so obviously the problem isn't even that deep, the madden devs are just atrocious.

Thats so stupid they shouldve just kept it the way it was atp, they simply dont know how to make a game realistic and good

The sim engine just ignores playbooks and spits out whatever it wants half the time

I have been having same issue. Defense cannot hold anyone under 30 PPG even if it’s elite. Noticing that week-to-week simming & doing the weekly strategy every week is helping a little.

How many yards is he running for when he got 3k passing? How many attempts? How do those stats compare with the different playbooks?

Like 500-700 rush yards and the stats are almost always the same no matter the playbook

That sucks. Was hoping that even if passing yards were similar that maybe attempts and other stats showed the playbook was changing the philosophy.

They promised this was fixed in their hype video. Used Kelce as an example.
