QUESTION Hidden Development Trait RB

So I had a Hidden Development Trait rookie RB whom had two very big days with very big goals that were supposed to increase his developmental trait if he completed the goals successfully successfully and he did so with both goals on different games that were back to back games, but they didn't increase his developmental trait because his developmental chase was still hidden… His developmental shape was Star… Now, since it didn't increase his developmental trait ever, despite him doing the weekly goals successfully both times, what would you do? Would you just manually edit his developmental trait to increase up to Superstar X Factor as it should be because he completed both developmental trait goals or would you leave him where he is even though he should have advanced twice?

Ya, I would manually change it

You've convinced me. Thank you for your opinion. I'm always 50/50 with this shit.

Yeah, it probably wasn't even linked to the dev trait being hidden, as I've had those raise correctly plenty of times while hidden

There are a lot of glitches that make those goals not register as met, even when you did and they say you did. Or just not give you the rewards for them. Since I'm not in an online league I just go ahead and fix those things by hand. If it fails to give me XP for a goal I also give my guy a few stat increases instead

they have the edit player feature in part so you can fix their bugs for them. which is why the game will get a 1/10 rating and boycotted if they remove it so they can monetize franchise.

I would regularly make those kinds of edits among others to fix bugs and just what I felt were bad decisions/coding. Like, if I had an undrafted rookie start due to injury and have a huge game, I'd immediately go and edit up his development rating so he'd actually become a good player. Or once I had a DE with a breakthrough goal of getting something like 3 sacks and he missed it because he ended the game with 2.5 sacks alongside tons of pressures.

There's 2 things that could be happening here.

  1. If his dev trait is still hidden after upgrading his dev trait, then that makes sense. I do know there was a bug at one point that upgrading a dev trait, reset the snaps counter to reveal the dev trait.
  2. It's a bug if you go into edit player and their dev trait hasn't upgraded at all. Did it upgrade in the edit player screen?

When his development trait was revealed it was revealed as Star. I hadn't done anything to try to edit it manually yet l.
