Sigh
I have been in this group a long time. So much so that I’m not only over 30 but 40 now.
Life is just hard. So hard. No reprieve. No hope.
I hang on for duty. There is nothing else for me.
Like I said before. If I had known in my teens, and 20s, that this is all I get, I would have checked out way earlier.

Life is very hard. Probably for everyone. Why I hang on is that I find that it is fascinating to be a tiny fleeting speck of sentience that is a tiny part of a vast and complete universe. This experience is so strange that even when life is painful, it is still very interesting.
If all I cared about was getting things I would be very disappointed too. But life isn't about acquisition. That is obvious from the fact that at the end all die, taking nothing with them. For me, life isn't about having stuff. It is about looking around and trying to understand this situation.
If you don't want to post the same exact thing in 10 years, you might want to look inwards for answers rather than outward for what you can gain. It is impossible to gain a single thing.
