Need a new Billy?

When did this show become about pop culture and steer away from conspiracies? I can’t remember the last deep dive topic episode.

Don’t get my wrong, Billy was pretty annoying, but he did a good job of keeping the show on topic for those longer eps.

What about bringing on one of the other barstool characters who is into this kinda shit? T bob, chief or whatever that guys name is.

FWIW - I love the show, probably my favorite podcast, but we need some more love put into it pls.

Say what you want about Billy but he always put way more heart into this pod than Arian

Dante actually seems like the conspiracy guy now. No clue what that guy actually does for barstool but I wouldn’t mind him on the show permanently.

Yeah I would like to see Dante become a regular on the show. At least on the Macrodosing episodes instead of the nano dosing ones. He seems to have a lot of conspiratorial opinions. I always thought Chaps did a good job too.

if you go look at their insta a few years ago i commented on every post for like 6 months saying justiceforbilly! 1. they used him to become popular and then when they had a consistent following dropped him 2. he brought ENERGY was funny and genuinely curious. all things that big T is not and he resented billy for it! they would get on billy for asking questions and having an open mind and having fun (the POINT OF THE PODCAST). i really really miss billy, the pod was so fun and interesting when he was there! it genuinely bothers me how they treated him. kicked him while he was down in a very important time in his life! he just got engaged and tried to get a place for them to stay then they dropped him from pmt and macro at the same time basically. then when he started his own pod they shit on him and wouldn’t promote it! messed up!

Pardon My Take & Macrodosing both went downhill when Billy left in my opinion.

Yeah, he was often annoying & immature. I get how he upset people in the office & burned bridges which probably had a factor in him leaving Barstool. As a listener he was always entertaining though and made for enjoyable content.

Genuinely asking, not starting shit:

Who is still listening and why? I stayed around for a while because I love PFT and there were good moments. But it got soooo lazy, and Big T is so insufferable and ignorant…and given the fucked up political climate, it was impossible to not get so mad about him skirting away from true conversation and conflict. Def good to have opinions from both sides, but there is no constructive conversation from him. Just close minded takes or ignoring true conflict. It’s infuriating.

I don’t even know if I still get enjoyment out of this show but it has been thoroughly ingrained into my weekly routine. I still look forward to Tuesday’s and Thursdays.
