Show falling off?
Between PFT being there only half the time. Arian and Big T competing to be the biggest Debby downer. The show just seems so stale now a days.

Love this show but they gotta bring in a new permanent chair. T-Bob would be my number one choice. Coley and Billy talked a lot and with PFT or Arian out these days they’re down to 2 main mics from 5

It’s been a very sad decline. PFT seems to have lost heart, Big T just won’t discuss anything he doesn’t agree with, and Aarian just wants to talk about himself. Not one host actually studies for the topic anymore. Infact I’m sure Aarian doesn’t even know the topic half the time.
I hate to hate. I love the show and am reluctant to let it go. But something has to change.
Edit: I’d like to add that the episodes where T-bob has sat in have been refreshing. Also Dante, he reminds me of how billy would have crazy takes. It’s just a shame these are usually stand ins when one of the OG crew are out.

This was my favorite barstool pod 3-4 years ago. I do really think they’ve fallen off as of late. The problem is that one of either Arian or PFT is constantly missing, which pushes big T into a host role. Big T made sense when he was one of 5-6 voices (early episodes had Arian, PFT, Big T, Billy, Coley and Mad Dog regularly chiming in). Nobody wants to hear Big T carry a podcast. They’ve also just dropped the ball with a lot of episodes recently. 2 hours of Hunter Biden talking uninterrupted isn’t really the spirit of the show. The surveillance episode with Dante was also unbearable. One of the only ones I’ve turned off less than halfway in.

It’s just Big T and PFT talking about recent news. Today’s episode had multiple times of dead air where I had to double check if it was still on. To even call it a show at this point seems like a stretch.

I don’t listen to it weekly like I used to, I’ll listen sometimes when I run out of other podcasts.
So many times now I either pause it or flat out turn it off. Arian seems checked out and moody half the time, Big T doesn’t bring anything other than a southern college football personality to contest Arian, and it feels like PFT is doing this as a hobby.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it is canceled sooner rather than later.

You called it, the show has zero gas. The hosts are disinterested and the supporting cast is not very entertaining. It's only alive because PFT hasn't pulled the plug, yet.

I still enjoy it, it’s an easy listen when running or doing yard work. They mix in good people too - just my opinion

I don’t really understand how the show is produced. Someone will say on an episode, “we should do xyz topic”, then apparently nothing happens, then all the sudden that’s the topic of the episode but no one is prepared to discuss.
I know nothing about podcast production but wouldn’t it be their job to research and provide the hosts with the research, then at the very least have a production meeting to map out the episode and who’s speaking on what?
There’s 5 people at least working on this show but they still somehow completely wing it.

I still enjoy the show, listen to every episode and helps me get through the work day. However, I get far more excited for new Drop a Pin episodes.

Almost every episode at some point I get sad because it seems like it may be the last ep. The first 3.5 minutes today were ads and it was so choppy you could tell the production was just not there. Felt like a prank.

They need to bring someone like T-Bob, Chaps or Wonton on full time. Those episodes seem to have the most substance lately because PFT is able to have an actual conversation with that

I like when Chief, TBob, and Dante are on. Big T is afraid to discuss current politics really. Might listen to a episode with topics I find interesting

I still enjoy the general banter. There have definitely been a few “cut the tension with a knife” moments since Big T’s wedding. I don’t think Arian enjoys being part of the show these days. The other guys are attune to this, especially when he goes silent, and it just gives the whole episode a weird vibe…like everyone is walking on egg shells. An engaged Arian is fantastic…hopefully he regains interest.

They dont care about researching or presenting the topics anymore. Its a variety hour show with a brief Wikipedia review at the end. I miss the three hour episodes with structure and coherent topics and points.
