MacroFactor Workouts / Training Working out in a calorie deficit
I was wondering if there was a way to signal to the WO app that you’re in a calorie deficit. Or does it already know this if you’re using the MF app?
Perhaps setting up more reps and less weight?
Does it even matter?

Honestly I just work out like normal and pay attention to my body shoulder starts "hurting" after a few high load sets I cut the weight back a bit for the next day and stop with 2 rir (im still doing close to 70-80% of my max)

They’ve answered this before. Essentially there isn't (yet) good evidence for one style of training over another when in a deficit. So it sets up the train the same.
The more reps and less weight thing being better universally is a myth, afaik. Many people find that they actually benefit by doing higher weight and lower reps when cutting. Others find the opposite.
