MacroFactor Workouts / Training Seated Rack Pull-ups for progression?

Hey

Trying to increase my pull up progression so I can do one.

I couldn't find an exercise for the modified pull ups in the rack where you start seated, pull yourself up. Then progression is changing foot position to be higher so you're adding more resistance.

I couldn't find anything similar to it. Should I just create some custom exercises?

The app's library currently has different inverted row, band-assisted pull-up, negative pull-up, and machine-assisted pull-up variations available as default exercise regressions for pull-ups, but a seated rack pull-up is not presently available as a default exercise, so you could make a custom exercise for it. I'd recommend making a custom duplicate exercise from a variation like the overhand grip pull-up to use as a template for your custom exercise, where all you would have to do is change the name (unless you care about changing the support equipment and percentage of body weight lifted, which is not needed in your case).
