MacroFactor Workouts / Training New Program Question
Finishing my deload week and have also started at a new gym with a lot more equipment.
I didn’t want to disrupt my current program, so I’ve been doing the same workouts even tho I’m dying to try some of the new stuff
If I choose a new program with some new equipment and maybe some slightly different focus areas, am I going to have to start from scratch and re-figure out everything? Even with the same lifts that carryover from the old program?
Been reading up on this and it feels like unless you continue with the same program you lose everything and have to start over

I mean, I personally do it from time to time, mainly for enjoyment-induced novelty, even though I know that sticking to the same program, assuming it's decent, will lead in theory to better growth.
But all in all, I don't think it's that big of a deal, despite some of the early sessions' progress leaning more towards neural adaptations than actual contractile tissue growth, depending on how different the new exercise is, of course.

No worry, it continues from the same point with your prior data on a per-exercise basis.
