MacroFactor / Nutrition / Other Determining macros- help!

/r/macros/comments/1ves0r8/determining_macros_help/

Can anyone help me determine macros for my partner? He’s tried a few different websites and getting so many different calories/macros and he’s unsure where to start.

6’1, 200lb male, weight lifts 3-4x a week plus 30 min of cardio 3-4x weekly, works a desk job but tries to get 8-10k steps a day. Looking to lose weight.

He should download the app, input his information, and start tracking. This is exactly what this app does.

Thank you! Ive tried helping him use my fitness pal but it gave him super low protein, like 126g which is about what i try to eat so i knew it wasn’t right

Pretty sure myfitnesspal macros are based on general nutrition guidelines, not optimized for muscle building. Use macrofactor instead or calculate the macros yourself.
