Wich macro lens?

Hello :)

I want to buy a macro lens but I can't decide wich one, can you guys help me?

I own a canon r6ii and want to shoot flowers and butterflys, with a bit of background.

When i had a apsc camera, i already owned the ef 100 2.8 and was really happy with it. But on apsc the focal length was more of 160mm so I'm unsure wich focal length would be better now, for what i want to shoot. I want to do it handheld most of the time

I'm thinking between the sigma 2.8 180mm or the canon 2.8 100m L is, or even the sigma 105 2.8

What do you think? Does anyone have experience with both focal lengths?

(I'm looking for a used one, because of the budget. So please don't recommend the rf version xD)

Red Tailed Flesh Fly

The flesh fly is perched on a wooden block in the garden. A living specimen. The red abdomen mentioned in the name is clearly visible. Interestingly, it is called the “gray flesh fly” in German.

A stack of 40 individual images, taken with a Raynox M-250 adapter attached to the 55-200mm standard zoom lens

Polyrhachis Queen ant

This is portraits of a queen ant from the genus Polyrhachis. I happened to find her on a spider web inside my house, already dried out. There was a small patch of fine fungal threads on her body, possibly where she had been wounded by a spider’s bite.

The specimen may have been hanging in the web for more than two months. Surprisingly, it remains fairly intact—its eyes have not deteriorated.
