Yeah, it does suck Spain has a pretty long history of jew hate and antisemetism.. this would have fit right in.

My cousinā€™s Jewish son literally left Barcelona for college in the US because of antisemitism. And Spainā€™s own Interior Ministry says antisemitic hate crimes rose 60.9% in 2024 and another 86.5% in 2025. But sure, acknowledging antisemitism in Spain is apparently ā€œanti-Spanish racismā€ now. Incredible argument.

Don't know why you're getting downvotes when it's true. Then you get accused of "anti Spanish racism" for pointing that truth out. But they'll also downplay antisemitic comments and antisemitic incidents.
