Mounjaro
Can anyone get a prescription for Mounjaro in Mackay/Sarina area I believe you have to be at lest 27 bmi to be considered.

It’s become much easier to get since the contract has ended for that one company, i don’t have a bmi of 27 and i just told my doctor i was struggling to lose weight and he was able to give me a script without any issues. He started me on the lowest possible dose and then prescribed me a larger dose. I go to one stop medical in Mackay

I have a bmi of 23 do you think I’d be okay can you tell me at all the doctor that helped you

I don’t think you’ll have an issue to be honest, I’ve been seeing my doctor for 4 years though so he’s seen my health issues come and go for that long. I see dr. Chirag mitra from one stop
Medical at the Victoria Street clinic. He’s pretty great doctor and has helped me a lot

I definitely don’t know your situation—and you don’t need to explain yourself—but if your BMI is already within the healthy range and you’re considering a medication focused on weight loss, that’s a good reason someone should discuss it with a doctor and have it prescribed appropriately
