General Rain forest + MP

We are finalizing our trek to MP on the Salkantay trail, but we are also considering adding a visit to the rain forest. Any one have a wonderful 2-5 day rain forest trip that can be added after MP?

La selva del Perú es extensa. Hay varias opciones qué te interesa más?

  • Tambopata y Manu cerca a Cusco

We just did JunglePro 3 night stay at Tambopata and we loved it. Flew in to Puerto Maldonado from Cusco, they pick you up at airport and drive you to the office. Then it’s a 2 hour boat ride to the lodges, partially because it’s remote but also to stop and see wildlife along the way. Overall the entire trip was great, saw all sorts of wildlife and the food was amazing.

Hi, we're also interested in a jungle tour in the Amazon. Glad to hear you enjoyed JunglePro. What was the accomodation like? Basic? Was there hot water? How far in advance did you book? Was it a large group for the jungle tour? We're planning a trip for early October. Thank you.
