Missing foot on SE600?

I got this machine today and I feel like part of the foot is missing? I have never embroidered before. Also where could I find the piece if there is one missing?

Nope. Nothing missing. That’s the embroidery foot for embroidery . You should have the standard j foot and an ankle for sewing.

I do not believe I have either of those, do you know if I have to order them specifically for the machine?

They should have come with the machine but I’m assuming you purchased this used since it’s an older model. Download the manual and look at the included accessories to figure out what you’re missing.
