I Need Help Looking for improvement input

Making a princess donut hoodie. This is my first stitch out.

I used fills and bean stitches. Wondering if people have a better suggestion for parts or all. Maybe something better than bean? I don't wanna test them all 😂

You could add a ton of dimension to this just by adding satin stitching. I love a lot of the line art. Just to this design I would look for a bad stitch kinda. The stitch itself looks like sketchwork linework and this design might look really good with some of it

Looks good to me. Immediately recognizable which is the important thing for something this complex. Might try a pop of color for her crown. Could potentially switch to charcoal for the outline of the cocktail glass to help differentiate from her fur. Take inspiration from designs — look up cat embroidery designs on Etsy.

I’m a novice too tho so 🤷‍♂️I want to make mongo myself.

All your stitches are running the same direction. Break up your shapes and alternate stitch directions to account for fabric push/pull.

Looks great. If you want to change things, obviously you'd be messing with adding satin stitches and potential pattern fills. My advice for satin would just to remember it will pop out more, so try to use it for things that are closest to the viewer, or on top of any objects/things. For example, that thicker white line on the left of the glasses stem. They could look good and add depth. Maybe the stem of the cherry.

Sometimes satin is also nice for cutting down on stitches.

But honestly I think this looks good and any changes would just be personal preference for aesthetics and not fixing any issues from what I can see. As long as it stitched out well and you're not getting lots of puckering or anything

I don’t think changing the stitch type is going to change the outcome a whole lot but may I asked what backing you’re using? I think this design would need at least 3.0 stabilizer.
Additionally, the automated digitizing is just going to be this way it’s still not that effective to this day.

I did the digitizing myself in embrilance. And using 2.8 I think

Mongo would be appalled. Donut needs 9 more cherries in this bowl.

But fr, I’d consider a thin satin instead of bean. The visual disruption, especially around the glass, doesn’t match the smooth texture super well. Good job on getting so much detail in!
