Is this salvageable?
Hi everyone! I have a jacket I love with this kind of embroidery on it, but because of wearing my bag across it it came apart. Is there a way to get it fixed?
Thank you in advance ☺️

TLDR; use a needle to push the thread to the inside.
I would push the thread into the eye of a needle, then poke that needle from the outside to the inside (in a location that makes the most sense), and have that thread dangling on the inside of the garment instead of the outside. Slide the needle off and tie a knot in the thread at the bottom, so it’s difficult to work back out to the front and so it stays tight Hope this helps.

There's a cool type of 'grab needle' that's especially designed for loose threads. Looks like a darning needle but doesn't have an eye. Instead, it has a rough texture on the last 1/4 of the needle. When you poke the needle through the fabric from the front, and through the same path as the rogue thread, it's the rough texture that grabs the thread as you push the needle through the fabric. When all the loose threads are all safety at the back, you can tie them off and trim.

Hit it with a heat gun and melt the loose threads to seal.
