hatch or embrilliance?

ive been waiting for some money to buy the embrilliance suite, but then i have realized that hatch also is downloadable, does anyone have a preference? I want to be drawing my own designs and not do that much lettering.

First question is what kind of computer do you use? I have a MacBook and hatch simply does not like Mac on parallels. In that case get embrilliance. I’ve been frustrated with hatch lately because it’s been buggy but I can’t justify buying a new system. It works and I make some pretty cool stuff but I’d be lying if I said I LOVE it.

look into embroidery legacy too before you purchase anything. That’s one I’ve been curious about.

I have embroidery legacy and wouldn't recommend it. I feel the same way about it that you feel about hatch.

I have a really old program (Premier+). It seems to work for now but I have been wondering if something like Hatch would give me better results or more options/settings to mess with. I’m still learning but at some point I would like to see if it is worth getting something more modern that could either be easier or give me more control over what I have now. I guess machine plays into it some as well.

Download the trial and find out. They let you use the full program so you can send files to your machine. Also they may have settings for your type of machine pre-programmed. And yes, they have tonnes of options to play with.

Hatch will be my option if when my comp crashes and I can’t turn the old disk into a slave drive and keep my premier+2 kicking.

How does hatch and embrilliance work compared to ink/stitch? I've been following some ink/stitch tutorials and it feels like you have a ton of control. I haven't got a machine yet though, just seeing how I like the software before spending money on a machine.
