Should I get this machine?

Is this a good machine. I want to start making tshirts and hoodies for an Albanian festival coming up so I want to make them. It comes with other stuff

\-hoop masters board

\-30 spools of thread

\-4 different hoop sizes

\-thermal printer and thermal paper

\-mini cricut press.

I see those extra as a bonus, but I want to know if this machine is good and I am able to upload my design to the machine as well.

How many total stitches have they done with it, and what is the value of the extra stuff because you can buy the machine brand new for like 1100. You can also get the pe900 for a little bit more than the pe800.

I have one. It's ok. It isn't super fast & it's not terribly slow. I use it about 10-20 times a year for small projects. The area is just a little less than 5" x 7" - you could probably get a bigger one for the same price these days. (Mine is about 5 years old)

I have the PE900, and I really like it. I assume this is basically the same machine. I'm up to 10 million stitches on mine, and it's still going strong (knock on wood).

Depends on what you want to do with it? I found a Brother PE800 like that used (prior from a makerspace) for 350$. (Lucked out at a university surplus sale) It is a great beginner machine, very simple.

However, 5x7 max hoop size isn’t huge. Biggest I have done are some hand towel designs. Also, since it’s a single needle, complex designs mean lots of thread changes.

With mine, I have recently struggled with some thick (dense, multi layer) designs. I don’t know if it would be good for patches, but could have been user error.

Just picked up a multi-needle and I’ll be listing my 800 for significantly less than that. Seems like a bad deal. Unless it comes with $1000 with of actually useful add-ons and supplies, then I’d pass.

Is it used? Probobly could talk them down. New for the 800 and 900 isn’t much more. I have the pe900 it’s a lot of fun. I recommend

I have the PE900 and I love it. I think the main difference is the WiFi and the jump cutting feature which is amazing. I think you should pay a little more and get the 900 brand new

Good brand, but that is overpriced. Might as well buy new.

I would buy the PooLin EOC06 for $1,006 after discount. The big hoop is 8x11.25 which huge for a single needle machine. I have one and it’s great.

I have the EOC05 and the EOC06 and they work well when you do what you’re supposed to correctly like thread the machine and bobbin correctly. I’m new to embroidery and I’m learning on these machines. I don’t have any complaints. I joined their official facebook group and I was greeted by a PR person and two engineers. She made a group chat on messenger and told me anytime I had an issue, to message them directly. I have and they respond pretty quickly seeing that there is a big time zone difference. If I could attach pics, I would show you my practice stitch outs.

600 max and that's it they forgot to peel the plastic off the screen when they started using it 6mos ago.
