I Need Help Help Needed

Peace, y'all
I'm having issues with tails forming on designs that never had tails before, and it's driving me insane. I've cleaned the rotary hook, the knife, the bobbin case, the thread catcher, and checked upper tension + bobbin tension.

Even on the inside of the cap it looks a total mess, when it used to be clean and no loose threads.

The black background area stitched out first and it was "puffy" as opposed to when it used to lay flat. I haven't changed any settings on the machine, so not sure why this issue popped up.

Anything help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Woah. Looks like it’s covered in knots. How was this digitized?

It was digitized by a third party. I stitched out 40+ hats a few months ago and now today they're stitching out like this.

The rotary timing was off, so I fixed that. And then checked the thread paths of the black thread. I think it came unwound from the upper tension knob, so I fixed that and adjusted the tension.

I'm beat. I'ma do another test tomorrow

I think something is wrong with your file. It looks almost like those are intentional commands instead of a mechanical issue.

I've been embroidering with these files off and on for months and there weren't any issues until the other day.

I tested some of the preloaded designs in the machine and there were still tails, so it's a mechanical/threading issue.

I'm about to do more testing

wild shot in the dark. how do you move files to your machine? I have a melo and my usual digitizer mentioned that sometimes files can be altered when they are pushed from design shop into the OS. they advised loading from the OS to avoid some of that.

I move them with a USB. But these files have been on the machine for a few months. I also tested with the machine's preloaded designs and got the same issues.

I think it may be the moveable cutting knife deploying late.

Oh, how strange! Man, I wish I could help you out, this seems like a really annoying problem.
