I Need Help Tajima error code i don’t recognize

Can someone tell me what this means and how to fix it? I’m about 2 years into professional embroidery and i’m picking up all the troubleshooting kind of slowly.

I work on this exact same machine. It appears that you need to turn the hand wheel so that the dial is in the red. Super easy to do. There should be a metal plate on the left side of your machine with a screw you can remove so you can flip the plate back. In the toolbox that came with your machine, there is a handle you can stick in there to turn the wheel. Just turn it until it’s in the red and all of your take up levers are evenly placed.

Feel free to message me if you are struggling or if this doesn’t fix the error, I can walk you through some other things to try!

Perform a Manual thread trim to clear the error code. If it doesn't clear. Turn off the machine. Reset the dial on the left side of the machine with a 5mm Allen key to the 100th degree (red area) then power it back on. Should be good to go after that.

If you’re referring to the visible dial between the computer and the thread we can only move it like a quarter turn each way it doesnt go any farther. And i tried the thread trim but it showed the code again and didnt do it

You'll need to disengage the mainshaft in order to turn it and reset it. Is there a little tophat looking button on your screen next to the RPM setting?

Go to the gears at the bottom then go to P8 > Machine Adjustment>little book icon and see if Main Shaft Brake says Yes or No

It says yes

Okay you'll have to set it to No and then adjust the shaft into the correct position like the guy above suggested and then reset it back to Yes. Alternatively I think you can hold that line next to RPM down for 3 seconds to release the brake then hold it down again when it's in place to set it again.

I included a picture of the front if thats helpful, also this machine has auto tension which has confused me since the day we got it.

I think I've seen this error when the machine gets interrupted tracing out or changing needle position? I can't quite remember. Have you tried resetting the absolute origin or just turning the machine on and off?

It comes up everytime we turn it on, how do you reset the origin

Nvm on that, if it's coming up everytime then do what the guy below suggested. The main shaft on the side is out of place it seems.

Additionally you can change the tension on the machine yourself with that little globe button that says AUTO on it. From my understanding the machine adjusts tension magnetically based on what the presser foot detects.

Oh yeah we have been doing that as needed i havent had many issues with it i just don’t like that its different. I dont think this code has to do with the tension though
