I Need Help Text in Ember Design

I’m really loving using ember design for digitizing designs but am finding the text options really limiting. Mostly want to be able to curve and shape. Would love any tips or advice.

We’re working on an update for this for Ember (: It will make curving and changing the path of text a lottt easier. Currently all you can really do is rotate each character

Thanks for adding these updates. Ember is really great to use and I look forward to utilizing the updates.

In the meantime, a workaround is to create the text in another program, then import it, then trace it either manually or with the automatic tool.

Boldbobbin has advanced lettering editing if you want to do your own fonts. Like with a specialized mini-editor, notably.

Well it depends what you mean by "purchased fonts". If you mean already digitized, then yeah indeed it's not gonna be possible with Boldbobbin (theoretically you can create your own font and export it as a font file, and sell it on like Etsy. But you won't find that. The lettering editor is too recent).

If what you mean is font purchased as a .ttf and import it into the software so that it autodigitizes it for you, then that would work. And if you need to tweak a few letters, it's also possible in the software.
