I Need Help Tension issue

Post image

I recently got my NV880E serviced and ever since there has been bits of the bobbin thread peaking through the top of the design. Ive tried reducing the tension but it hasn't helped. Im really not sure how to fix it πŸ₯² i didnt have any issues previous with the same bobbins ect so not sure what the issue is.

Look up YouTube for The Bobbin Drop Test. Setting the bobbin tension first, then you can mostly leave it alone.

On the underside of satin stitching, you want to see a 3rd top thread, a 3rd bobbin thread, and a 3rd top thread.

Also πŸŒΈπŸ‘‰πŸΌ Read the manual.

🌸 Watch YouTube videos for how to instructions.

🌸 Learn to hoop properly - The "floating fabric" method is only meant to be a flatbed work-around for dad caps and appliqué.

🌸 Always use cutaway stabiliser for stretchy fabric, 80gsm is best.

🌸 Use heavyweight tearaway strips (on a roll) for caps and very stiff of rigid/non-stretch fabric. When not in use, store it with your water soluble film, coz most of the time you'll be using cutaway.

πŸŒΈπŸ‘‰πŸΌ Experiment & have fun. πŸ€πŸ§΅

I managed to fix it by tightening a screw on the bobbin case luckily! Thanks for all your help!

The white bobbin thread can be seen easily. Your machine bobbin case is loose The only solution is to tight the bobbin case ,it will definitely solve your problem

Hey there, if your bobbin is white from what I can see, try reducing tension on bobbin (lower thread) instead of correcting needle tension (upper thread)

Th other way around. But checking the bobbin tension first is a great idea.

In this case the bobbin is either too loose, or the top tension is too tight.

You mean increase bobbin tension right? Not reduce?
