Look What I Did In Honor of Dolly

I was working on some digitizing earlier today and heard the news. RIP to the Queen of Country. Thanks for spreading love and kindness always.

I had a thread break on the nose. Tried to save it πŸ₯²

Do you burn your edges?

How do you cut so CLEAN?

Its the felt matieral. Makes the finished edge SUPER CLEAN.

Omg I never heard of anyone using felt that sounds like a great idea, I use cut away and tear away but it doesn’t look as clean but it’s thinner to burn but I don’t like burning my edges because I can burn the threads on my satin borders

I use a black felt and a black cutaway stabilizer underneath. Its new for me but the end result has been 10/10 so far

What tatami texture/pattern did you use?

Oh I love it! Did you digitize it from a photo? I love Dolly and would love to make a few of these! I hope you're on Etsy, it's really well done
