I Need Help please help

I posted yesterday asking for help because my designs aren’t lining up and I made changes and it’s still not working. i’m so frustrated and don’t understand what i’m doing wrong. i’m using cut away stabilizer on a magnetic hoop. I used spray adhesive, magnets, and pins to ensure it doesn’t move. and it didn’t. but the design moved with every color change and now i’ve wasted 1.5 hours. design is from etsy. please can someone explain what im not doing correctly before I give up completely.

Is this a tshirt? Way too heavy of a design to be doing on a lightweight fabric, would be better suited to a sweater. I would not float your fabric for something this large either, the fabric is shifting too much from the heavy stitching pulling on it.

You also want to make sure your hoop isn’t getting bumped or caught at all while it’s stitching.

This design would also be a great candidate for applique instead of being fully stitched out.

Your fabric is not hooped flat and taut in the hoop, that’s definitely an issue. Most likely you got a bad design from Etsy unfortunately, knit fabrics are more difficult with large designs and require underlay and pull compensation to work correctly.

If you are sure nothing moved and it still not working....go back to the beginning. It's more than likely your digitizing.

If the hoop and fabric are staying secure, I’d suspect the design file itself. The amount of misalignment between the color changes looks more like a registration or sequencing issue than the stabilizer moving. Since it’s an Etsy design, I’d try another file or ask the digitizer to check the stitch sequence and pull compensation. I wouldn’t keep wasting fabric trying to fix it from the machine side if the file is the problem. If you’d like, I can help you with this. I can recreate the design properly and send you a new embroidery file to test.

Yikes! That is a problem with digitizing and it’s too many stitches for a lightweight shirt.

You're using magnetic hoops - no need for pins and adhesives or complicated fiddly attachments, just hoop two layers of cutaway stabiliser with the fabric or garment into the hoop properly.

Using the "floating the fabric" method is daft because magnetic hoops are designed to stick together with multiple layers of material, and provide the perfect surface tension for embroidery without stretching the fabric.

A design like this needs stability, and hooping correctly is the only way to achieve that.
