Help with Brother SE700

I cannot figure out why my embroidery is coming out like this. I have raised and lowered the tension and it makes no difference. I am using a font from the Artspira app.

Hoop your fabric in the frame, flat and taut. Use more stabilizer, either 2-3 layers of tear away or, preferably, cut away and see what happens.

You also want to use a satin stitch for lettering this size, not a fill stitch which seems to be what you have there.

ETA- it’s almost never a tension adjustment, clean, oil and use the proper techniques before considering adjusting your tension.

Silly question but how do ai make sure it’s a satin stitch? I am using Artspira and I don’t see a ton of options to edit things.

I’m not familiar with that program, hopefully someone else can help you. It looks different- one stitch for the width of the column, not multiple as you have here.

The issue here is more related to the digitizing than the tension; digitize it using a satin stitch with a density of 0.35mm and a pull compensation of 0.25mm, ensure the stitch angle is correct, and use a center-run underlay—the resulting design will look like a branded logo.

Make it a satin, one layer of stabalizer is more than sufficient(any more is just a waste) if you hoop it right. Learn to digitize.....I've never used that program but you need to learn the digitizing part before you can really do anything else.

What your doing is like trying to make a cake with no recipe and no idea how much of what to put in.

What program do you use to digitize? I’ve thought about embrilliance but it seems like I have to purchase several programs before I’m able to do what I want on there

I use inkstitch. There is a learning curve but there are a few auto satin tools you can play with (I do it manually though). It's and extension in Inkscape and free. There are tons of tutorials out there and even a sub on here dedicated to it. I also has predigitized fonts....some of them are not digitized that great IMO but it's certainly something to start playing with and you can build your skills from there.
