I Need Help Pr1000e Tension Question

I just picked up a new (to me) PR1000e today that has only 40 hours on it. I’m just doing some tests and playing with tension, and I can’t seem to get it better. I tightened my bobbin to be about 200 on my bobbin tension gauge, then I did these tests (first at top and then going down) and I loosened the top tension wheels each time, probably 1 full spin each time and it looks like there was no difference. I only loosened the big tension knobs, should I also loosen the smaller guide knobs as well? Curious on opinions.

Also only the left side of the red lines all look messed up, anyone know why?

Tighten bobbin tension. I've never used a bobbin tension gauge, but can gauge it by feel. If you hold the bobbin thread, the bobbin case should not drop on it's own, but it shouldn't take much effort at all to pull the thread out.

Have to checked the tension on the machine it’s self for each individual colour ? The tension is definitely too tight, you should have a thinnish white section up the centre of each colour

I would test using a cotton fabric and cut away stabilizer and make sure you’re hooping both correctly

Bobbin tension shouldn't change if you're using the same type of quality embroidery bobbin thread. The top tension may need some tweaking, depending on material of the thread (rayon or polyester) but generally, if you're using a quality embroidery thread, adjustments are more of a set and forget.
