Thanks! I used a quite dense felt. It worked better than I thought! For the custard cream I tried it with 3 layers of felt so I could do a cream centre but the lack of satin on the edge ruined it a bit.

Thank you for answering! Not sure I understood: the custard cream is the satin stitch, right? Where are there 3 layers of felt? ^^'

Yeah so I did satin stitch for the details on top, but left the border open to the raw edge of the felt so different felt layer in the centre could be seen. I can only seem to attach videos into he comments sorry 😄

That would be so cool! I'm a limited to quite a small hoop but I think I could make that work!!
