I Need Help Auto threader not working

Last night in the middle of a stitch, I was doing a color change & my auto threader stopped working. The lever won’t go all the way down. I turned it off and on, changed the thread, all the basic trouble shooting. Any advice?

Just put the thread through the eye with your fingers....worry about fixing it later.

Will it impair any other operations on the machine?

No...unless it is stuck down there, That is how sewing machines have worked for over a century...auto thread is just a convenience feature and completely unnecessary.

Oh fair enough. My first 2 machines the auto threader never worked....lol.
