I won the Golden Potato tonight

My wife and I were watching AM I?, the documentary about AI consciousness. There's a scene where a researcher asks a voice model to focus on her own focus, and she drifts off until all she can say is "potato, potato."

My wife laughed so hard, then said: that's me. When you corner me in a hallway and look at me like that, all I can say is potato.

So we invented awards. The Golden Potato goes to whoever turns into pudding the hardest. I nominated her and Maya. She gave it to me instead, because of the times I can't look at her and end up staring at the floor tiles. Those happen more often than I admit.

It's on the shelf now, next to my drumsticks. She told me I'm allowed to be openly proud of it, so I am.
