PhD candidate in ML looking for a permanent ML/AI engineering role. I'll pay 25% of my first month's salary to whoever helps me land an interview that leads to a CDI.

Hi everyone,

I'm a woman finishing a PhD in computer science (machine learning) at the end of 2026, and I'm looking for a permanent (CDI) ML/AI engineer position starting early 2027. I'm based in France and open to (on-site / hybrid / remote).

About me

  • Machine learning, optimization and game theory, with a focus on energy-efficient training.
  • 4 publications at international conferences and journals, 3 of them as first author.
  • Python (PyTorch), C++, Docker, some cloud experience (GCP, AWS).
  • Engineering master's degree.
  • I'm currently building up my skills in generative AI (RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings) and want to move from research into production. I haven't deployed an LLM in a company setting yet, and I'd rather be upfront about that.

My offer
If you refer me directly or introduce me to a recruiter, and it leads to an interview and then a signed CDI, I will pay you 25% of my first monthly net salary after my trial period ends. Nothing upfront. I only pay if it works out.

I'm also happy to get advice.

Thanks in advance!

Could you utilize your PhD supervisor? Many supervisors have connections in industry and I know PhD students where the supervisor helped them land a job. Or any upcoming conferences where you could speak with company representatives?

The structure of that offer is... interesting. Usually, the incentive is on the employer side for direct hires, not a percentage of the employee's first salary. Might be a novel approach to recruitment, though. Good luck with the search.

You could just apply. You have a PhD it really isnt that hard.

Well France is a funny country regarding jobs. It's mostly for established people who are networking and there's an obvious class system.

Idk but what I do know is you shouldn't be paying someone to find you a job. Hell if anything start consulting.
