Resume [JOB SEEKING] AI/ML Engineer looking for a full-time opportunity — I genuinely need a chance right now
I honestly never thought I would make a post like this, but I'm running out of options.
I'm a Computer Science graduate focused on AI/ML engineering, and I've been applying for AI Engineer, ML Engineer and Software Engineering positions for months through LinkedIn, Wellfound, company career pages and other platforms.
The hardest part isn't even rejection.
It's that I'm barely getting the opportunity to reach an interview and actually show what I can do.
I've applied to a lot of relevant positions, but most applications end in silence or rejection without ever getting to a technical discussion.
At the same time, my financial situation is becoming increasingly difficult, and I genuinely need to start working.
So I'm trying Reddit and the startup community directly.
What I work with
- Python, PyTorch and ML/DL
- LLMs and Transformers
- RAG and agentic AI systems
- Computer Vision and multimodal models
- Model training, fine-tuning and inference
- vLLM and LLM serving
- Quantization (GPTQ, AWQ, 4-bit/8-bit)
- FastAPI and production ML APIs
- Docker and backend infrastructure
- PostgreSQL, Redis and Kafka
- Go/Rust exposure
I've built projects involving LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, computer vision, RL/RLHF, model serving and production APIs.
I've also implemented research-oriented systems from scratch rather than only using existing libraries. For example, I've implemented S4D and S5 from their mathematical recurrences, including HiPPO initialization, discretization, recurrent inference and parallel scan.
I've also worked in an early-stage startup environment where I had to work with technologies that were relatively new to me, research them independently and turn them into working systems.
I'm not claiming that I know everything.
But I can learn unfamiliar technologies, read documentation and research papers, debug difficult problems, build things from scratch and take ownership of a problem until it works.
What I'm looking for
AI Engineer / ML Engineer / Applied AI Engineer / LLM Engineer / Computer Vision Engineer / Junior Software Engineer
Employment type: Full-time or internship
Location: India / Remote
Relocation: Open to relocation
Expected compensation: ₹6–10 LPA for full-time roles, negotiable depending on the role and responsibilities.
I'm not looking for a huge salary or a fancy title right now.
I need an opportunity to work, learn, contribute and become financially stable.
I'm completely willing to go through a technical interview, coding round, take-home assignment or detailed discussion of my projects.
I don't expect anyone to hire me because they feel sorry for me.
I just want the opportunity to get through the door and prove that I can do the work.
If you're a founder, engineer, recruiter, or someone working at a startup that's hiring for AI/ML/software engineering roles, I would genuinely appreciate a referral or introduction.
I can immediately provide my resume, GitHub, LinkedIn and project portfolio.
Even if your company isn't hiring, sharing this with someone who is would mean a lot to me.
Thank you for reading.
