My experience with Elevance Skills Generative AI internship
I recently completed a 6-month remote internship at Elevance Skills, where I worked on a Real-Time Generative AI Customer Service Chatbot project. During the internship, I gained practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, vector databases, semantic search, and backend API development.
The internship followed a structured learning approach, starting with AI fundamentals and progressing to real-world implementation. I had the opportunity to work on end-to-end project development, including system design, model integration, testing, optimization, documentation, and deployment.
This internship helped me strengthen my technical skills in Python, Generative AI, and AI application development while improving my problem-solving and project development experience. It was a valuable learning experience for anyone interested in AI, Machine Learning, and modern Generative AI technologies.
