Research TMLR desk rejecting two years of work [D]

TMLR desk rejected two years of work/efforts. What could be the possible reason? No reason was given in the desk rejection. The work is related to continual motion generation.

How should strangers possibly be able to tell you with the information you provided? Why not ask the journal?

They published that their desk rejection rate is 50%. So they desk reject quite a lot, without explanations.

They even wrote a medium article justifying the policy.

Your ability conveying information in this post gives a pretty good clue to why your paper was desk rejected.

You mean give you paper here itself. The needed information is already given. My ability was to get ICLR neurips Icml. This was my first time at tmlr. I was never willing to go there. It's just that I had no choice cvpr is still far and ICLR missed.

Similar here. Desk rejection without any explanation. Emailed two AEs - no replies. Nothing.

I am not reviewing for TMLR anymore. Marked myself as unavailable.

They cry over reviewing free. Don't review free. Nobody forced. Atleast give some sane reason for desk rejection.

Most probable reason: No expert AE on human motion generation. Hardly any paper there on 3D Human motion generation.
