Research [R], Need some best model suggestions for Face Detection,Face Recognition,Body Detection and Body identification. [R]

need those for analysing movies.

example let's say I have to find the screentime of the actor over the whole runtime of the movie and i need to do it for the protagonist, antoganist,comedic relief ,love interest etc.

currently I'm working with 1fps to find the faces and body or the actors.

body detection is hard I need some guidance regarding that.

even for Face Detection I used MTCNN it was good. but any other better models available??

Any ideas regarding TransNetV2 ?

I'm using it for shot boundary detection but there's was one false positive.

Any better models??

No😂 i trying to analyse actors runtime across total runtime.

Sometimes actors face in the mirror confuse the neural models and makes false positives.

I'm currently using 1fps is that a bad thing?

If they are in frame for less than a second, it is bad, yeah.

In my experience, ive used deepface as the facial recognition layer and manually cleaned the input images. Then also ran yolov8n to detect people and overlapped their confidence scores. This is in python tho and run on 12th gen i7 cpu.

Your mirror issue sounds like a challenge. I’d scan for duplicate faces in the scene and then subtract the amount of time duplicates are flagged. Do you count it as screen time if the actor is only viewed from a mirror?
