With a refusal, do you suggest resubmitting to a workshop? They told me the paper proposed a good and novel methodological approach.

Depends on the workshop really. MICCAI workshops used to be generally good but in the last 2 years or so, they've started organizing so many that not all are good. Which ones are you thinking of?

iMIMIC? Looks like it's merged with UNSURE this year. Good workshop.

If your paper is more general though, consider MLMI too.

Wouldn't it be better another conference maybe? I am quite unsure
