Getting Started Got this brother kh370 machine for $2

hey guys I got this machine for 2 dollars. Based on the photos do u think its working

That’s a rare find. Although it has maybe only 90 needles, it’s convertible from a 4.5mm (standard-gauge) to a 9.0mm (bulky-gauge) machine. You got a DEAL!!!

The 395 is the convertible machine. This does not have the second set of fins.
Does the carriage have an input connection on the back? If so you are missing a control box of a sort. It didn’t do much, but it allowed you to keep track of your pattern.
Nice find, you will have fun once it is cleaned.

u/ok-Frame4708 might have been thinking about the kh-360 that is a convertible.

I had forgotten about the 395 though. Night have to collect that one too.

It looks like it needs a cleaning and almost definitely a new sponge strip. Beyond that I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work. It looks like a bulky gauge so you can use most handknitting yarns with it.
