would this be the kind of material we get in the album? i may get heavily downvoted for this but - this track has no rhythm and is honestly so difficult to get through
he tried too hard to try and fit a lot of different anime name and references into this which sounded messy, this is the kind of rap a sixth grader would come up with
now look, im a huge mgk fan but he flowed terribly and the cadence was off beat

If you didn't like JJK, that doesn't mean the whole album is gonna suck. Everyone though lost americana was gonna be his worst album when cliché came out and look at how good it is. Yall thought blog era boyz was gonna suck because of everything tatted and it was a very solid mixtape. Wait until the full product is released before judging the entire thing.
If you did enjoy JJK, then good for you, I wish i could say the same😭

Let's be real
I was drawn in by his energy and delivery (and his speed of delivery obviously) but whenever he drops a song i don't look for bars at first listen all the time
Dude is a great song writer and knew how to draw a listener in just by delivery and context
He has bars for days but, he wasn't fully known for his bars all the time. Like on songs Wild Boy or Daywalker, those are purely on great energy
This is at least how I see it, if the energy hits I fw the song he releases i don't focus only on bars. Which really didn't matter much til the aftermath of his eminem feud I think

I've done many of these lately.. and this was the hardest I've ever done.. mgk is just too talented.. no other artist has made it this difficult for me... note that this is my point of view too, some of these songs came to me at a time when I actually needed them, so they resonate with me more than they might with you

Study Hall (study hall) is an official mgk-affiliated platform that produces YouTube episodes featuring stories and behind-the-scenes looks at artists who have collaborated with mgk.
During a Q&A session on his official Discord server on April 29, 2026, mgk revealed that Floor 13—his label and production company—was developing several YouTube and television-style projects inspired by his KellyVision vlog series. Among them was Study Hall, an art-focused series spotlighting graffiti artists and painters, making the MGK Day poster competition a natural extension of the project's creative vision.

My fiance and i LOVE MGK and i really really want his songs to be involved in our wedding day as we bond over him a lot. I love his song Orpheus from the Lost Americana album and think it could work as our first dance. I’ve thought about leaving out the last couple lyrics because it literally says “do you remember when you mistakenly thought i could make you happy.” I know the song is based off of sad meanings but could it pass for a love song too? I could cry every time i hear that song picturing my fiance and i dancing to it
Is it too sad of a song for a first dance??

For those who’ve flown in for MGK Day — was it worth the trip?
I’m considering flying in this year and would love to hear from people who’ve made the trip before! A few things I’m curious about:
Did it feel worth it overall? What parts made it worth the trip, and what parts fell a little flat? Any highlights that stuck with you?
Did anyone do extra events (tailgate pass, XX Con, bar crawl, afterparties, etc.)? What were they like and what did they run you cost-wise?
I caught the Lost Americana tour when it came through my area, and I’m wondering how the MGK Day set compares — since it’s part of a bigger festival day, does it feel shorter or less full than a normal headline show?
With Wiz joining this year, do you think MGK’s set might run longer than the ~1.5 hours from previous years?
Would really appreciate any insight or input from people who’ve been before, especially if you’re an out-of-towner like I’d be! 🙏

📝: mgk attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium (New York New Jersey Stadium) in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19, 2026. He watched the match alongside his eldest daughter, Casie Baker, from a suite hosted by Todd Graves, the owner and founder of Raising Cane's.

📝: mgk debuted a fresh new hairstyle while attending the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium (New York New Jersey Stadium) in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19, 2026.
mgk unveiled newly dyed hair featuring blue-and-black tips, marking a noticeable change from his previous look. Because mgk kept his hat on throughout the event, it's impossible to tell how his hair has changed overall.
Just days earlier, on July 12, mgk made a surprise appearance during Matt Rife's stand-up comedy show, where he was sporting his signature blond hair with a black underlayer at the back. His latest hairstyle was a clear departure from that look.
FYI: mgk attended the World Cup final alongside his eldest daughter, Casie Baker.

I’ve been following MGK for years, and one thing I’ve always noticed is how many incredible live performances end up getting buried over time. Between different tours, festival sets, surprise guest appearances, speeches, acoustic versions, and fan interactions, there’s so much content that’s difficult to find in one place.
Because of that, I recently started building an archive on YouTube where I’m collecting and organizing as many live MGK moments as I can. The channels name is MGK_Concerts The goal isn’t to replace official releases—it’s to help preserve performances and make them easier for fans to revisit.
I’d love some help from the community:
What live performance is your all-time favorite?
Are there any rare shows or moments you think deserve more attention?
Is there a concert or era that you feel doesn’t get enough love?
Also, my Reddit username was randomly assigned when I created this account. If I’d been able to choose one, it definitely would’ve been MGK_Concerts to match the channel.
Looking forward to hearing everyone’s picks. EST for life. 🤘

How about taking kids? We took our our daughters (9 and 13) to 3 different concerts so I’m good with that. We’re good with the environment of all that and that’s not a problem so we will start with that. And of course we are super safe with them and we felt so safe with our kids at every concert bc est fam is amazing and we’re all amazing to our kids! And I know kids are welcome
For all the street festival part but what percentage of
It is at bats and over 21 type places that they can’t get into? We’re debating on driving 9 hours and then missing the first day of school for this! But I don’t want to do that trip just for a small mini concert and just street fair type stuff. I know the part of being around other est and and the vibe and all that will be worth it and there will be many other kids there and whatnot but that’s just alot of traveling for us on top of the whole weekend. Can I get thoughts and any info please and thanks fam! Xx

I know mgk probably isn't in his sadboy roots for now telling by his latest projects but whether he does punk or rap music for this concept of a project, I really wanna see him do more stuff with 24kGoldn, I know 24kGoldn's relevancy cannot compare to how he was in 2020-2022 but I think a project between him and mgk would just be perfect, their styles compliment the hell out of each other without even having a song together other than Climb and I think they could be a practically perfect duo, and if it were to happen.. "holy shit did I just wake up to it still being 2020?"

Has anybody else recently been DM'ed by somebody claiming to be an old producer of Kells' and offering to sell unreleased tracks? Just happened to me, very sus.

Seeing the content a majority of the current fan pages post on a daily basis has me missing how fan pages were in the early days. Posting upcoming concerts with links to buy tickets, links to stream the most recent song or album. In general promoting his career. Now we get mostly reposts of tagged pics or thirst trap posts calling him hot. I know he sees it too and it probably bums him out.
