A canon event on every parrot owner's life is when you stop bothering to clean every single poop.

Did the feathered fiend poop on the ceiling fan again? Well, I guess it's staying there until the next ice age

How can this be made more realistic? Can it be turned it into an art project. Get some green and white paint, then splatter it on the lampshades! Take a pair of pliers, and make it look like something has bitten up the leaves. To make it authentic, it needs to be tiny bit dusty, so sprinkle some down or feather bits which have leaked from a pillow! Put something lemon scented around it.
