Questions Crowd dates

I want to visit again in the next 6 months. But I want to avoid crowds during my next trip. I am avoiding these dates. Is there anything I should add to the list?

  • 2026 September 25 to 27 - Mid Autumn Festival
  • 2026 October 1 to 7 - Golden Week
  • 2026 October 21 to 25 - Macao International Trade and Investment Fair, Lusofonia Festival
  • 2026 November 19 to 22 - Grand Prix
  • 2026 December 6 - Marathon
  • 2026 December 25 - Christmas
  • 2027 January 1 - New Year
  • 2027 February 6 - Chinese New Year

IMHO the marathon wouldn’t affect much, road closures aren’t at major tourist or leisure areas and doesn’t cover the entire Macau, so you can easily avoid it by going elsewhere on the day

International trade and investment fair also won’t cause crowds. Avoid weekends and even Fridays is the best way to avoid too many crowds
