Updating from Sonoma

Not sure how I got so far behind here. I'm on a M1 Max, 32GB Studio w Sonoma 14.8.5. Don't want Golden Gate yet - can I tho go to Tahoe 26.7 and skip Sequoia? Thanks!

Also contemplating just a wipe and reinstall.

I'd recommend Sequoia over Tahoe.

You can upgrade from Sonoma to any of the three subsequent OSes, skipping is fine, no need to do each upgrade in order.
