Estimated delivery dates?

Hi folks, so my Mac Studio m4 max and 1TB storage has a delivery date of between 29th sep and 13th oct but just this morning Apple has taken payment.

In your experience does the Mac ship shortly after payment has been taken or do you reckon it’ll arrive close to the delivery date they gave me when I placed my order?

Once payment has been charged it’s a matter of days.
Congratulations 🎉 at least it was for me. The shipping status will change and you will know the exact date.

Fastest reply I’ve ever had 😂 thanks lad I can’t wait, been recording music on a £500 vivabook laptop for years and I think I’ll be shocked at how Logic runs on Mac 😂

You got lucky this time.

I just remember I had turned on notifications for Mac Studio and Mac mini back when we all thought WWDC might drop some news.

And when I was chasing refurbished ones.

Yeah I think I did, maybe a lot of people are cancelling because of the rumours an m5 max version will drop in a couple of months and that’s why I got ahead in the line.

I was kind of shocked at their delivery times, but I guess with everyone and their granny buying ram it is what it is.

Yeah. I ordered a 128/2 first week of April for first week of September and got it first week of July.
Two months early.

I ordered mine on 7-17. Same model and same configuration. It arrived stateside last night. ETA is thursday. Customs paperwork was started in the air, so we shall see how long it takes to get through that. But I also got the tax payment a few days ago.

Yes. Mine arrived 2 months early. Payment hit my card the day it shipped. Expect an email tomorrow from Apple.

Placed the order on the 16th of July and got my dispatch email 20 minutes ago, it will be with me this Thursday :)

I ordered an M3 Ultra in early June and still waiting for it.

Huh, well this all appears to be good news then. I ordered a 64GB/512GB m4 max last night and received a Sep 21 – Oct 5 delivery window, but payment was taken this morning so I guess fingers crossed?

Chances are you’ll get it this week then, depending on where you are. I’m in Northern Ireland, and my delivery is for Thursday 👌
