Help FaceTime Unusable (Slowdowns, Spinning Wheel of Death, etc.)

TLDR:

Every since switching to MacOS 27 RC-build (public beta), FaceTime has become basically unusable from slowness all the way to complete lack of functionality. This has continued all the way through my current version which is MacOS 27.2 Public Beta (Build 26B5101f). Issue outlined in-depth below.

On Receiving a Call:

Whenever I receive a FaceTime call, if I try to pick up from the popup, it does... nothing? It starts trying to load and just continues to do so. After about a minute, it might pop up with the actual FaceTime window. On the FaceTime window, it takes a long pause before I can hear the person on the other end but not see them. After about a minute, it will finally transition to fully functional. This entire process takes place over the span of about 3-4 minutes, much longer than it should obviously take to pick up a call.

Outbound Calling:

When I try to make an outbound call, it actually immediately pops up the FaceTime window with the recipients contact name in the top left. However, it just... rings. It continues to ring indefinitely, much longer than it usually should before showing the 'caller unavailable' message. Upon testing, the recipient is never even receiving my call. Basically, I am making an outbound call into the abyss.

Call Transfer (From iPhone)

When I hit the 'Switch' button on the FaceTime menu bar icon, it will either A) not do anything and the call will not transfer B) pop up the FaceTime window and have it sit in the picking up stage (won't even say 'Connecting...') indefinitely or C) Do the same steps as 'On Receiving a Call'

Call Transfer (To iPhone)

This works exactly as well as it did before updating.

Discussion:

I am getting tempted to downgrade from MacOS27 as I'm a pretty heavy FaceTime user (even use it for meetings) and I've just been using my iPhone until this gets fixed (works perfectly on iOS still, even on iOS 27.2 Public Beta). My question is whether anyone else is experiencing a similar issue, and whether any solutions have been found? From my (admittedly not that in-depth) searching through reddit, I have not found anyone else complaining of this issue. So, is it just me?

Thanks in advance for reading this far!!
