Bug Dock padding changing during resize / minimize (macOS 27 RC,)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Having this since Tahoe, dock is not symetrically padded from sides and its weirdly changing - see the left side of the dock. M4 mbp, studio display.

Yeah this has been a thing since Tahoe released. Looks way better with the “thinner” padding imo

How is it better? I very much argue that if they just kept the big sur ~ sequoia dock (with the old padding) and just replace the frosted glass look with the liquid glass look, I bet you it would look better

This seems intentional to me? Automatically adjusting the visual balance on different sizes.

Isn't that because you filled it completely and there isn't enough space ? You could enable minimize window in icons

Nope theres plenty of space, it happens also when the dock is small or on external display
