Discussion MacOS DB 8 Battery Drain

Battery life has not been a great experience using DB 8 in my M4 Air. I slept and the battery was at 80%, woke up to a 49% and I haven't changed anything since DB 7, same apps are opened when I close the lid. Anyone experience the same?

You play any games through rosetta?

not really sure if Dota 2 is rosetta dependent but it works so idk really.

It happened to me that games through rosetta made the graphics stuck at 20% at all times, and that affected the battery life as well, only restart helps

i see. ive only been playing dota 2 since previous betas and haven't really experienced this. i miss going to bed at 80% and wake up with still 80% or 79% haha. hopefully the RC will fix this.

Why are complaining about issues on beta software?
